Hi! I just realized I owe you a huge apology. I am new here on Substack and just today have I found your blog and this article was the first and only one I have had the chance to read so far. I left a comment earlier thinking I was being supportive in my own quirky, funny, and endearing way. If you read it, you would know how I talked about starting off from rock bottom and to keep looking forwards. Imagine my surprise and complete and utter embarrassment when I opened your welcome newsletter to discover you are a award winning publisher and illustrator. I am so sorry. i truly meant no harm and am hoping that by my first comment being no where to be found on here, that you took mercy on a naive and well meaning human who should absolutely take to the time to be more aware of absolutely everything and deleted it forever, never to be seen again.
