How I motivate myself through a large deadline
I finished Super Boba Cafe 2 on Friday. The relief was immediate. I never thought I could make a graphic novel of this size so quickly. I’m proud and exhausted. I celebrated and slothed around this weekend. But that’s all - I have many other projects that I ignored through the push to finish, including this substack. More posts are coming!
And more books. Including my next picture book, Quiet Karima, which releases in a month! It’s available for pre-order and early reviews are lovely.
I will be at some events in the next few weeks here and in New York.
